Hello there, I'mNor-Win. I'm 21, my mother tongue is French, but I also speak English
(of course) and a bit of Spanish. I started to teach myself some
Finnish as well, but my level is barely enough for me to write a postcard..
I'm in the last year of a Master's degree in Translation,
and am fascinated by languages, natural or not. In my days, I studied
a bit of Quenya and Sindarin (and a few others of Tolkien's languages),
and after falling in love with Doctor Who, I just hadto be interested by Gallifreyan. wink I look forward to working with
you!

Elen s´ıla l´umenna omentielvo!

Not exactly Gallifreyan, but welcome anyway! I'm Rihays and Rhiannon is lurking around here somewhere. >.> You might start by downloading the Gallifreyan Keyboard or reading the Project Notes/Gallifreyan Made Easy. Or, if you're feeling quite ambitious (and studying Quenya, Sindarin, and Finnish is quite ambitious), you might just pop over to "Beginners" and start writing and asking questions. biggrin

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you! I downloaded these and started reading last night before going to bed. (And then I had very strange dreams about it, from what I remember.) I will need to study it in more detail to fully grasp it all, though!

Ooooh yes. It's very fuzzy in my memory but I know I was trying to make sense of what I had been reading just before falling asleep. It was cool, though!

Welcome! Feel free to submit words or ask for explanations - gods know that Rihays and I ask each other for them enough. Try your hand at writing and sentence construction. We don't have all the grammar worked out yet, so you'll probably discover something we haven't figured out.

I shall! I've shyly started to write things on a copybook of mine during of these slow, boring classes.. Just "The cat is eating the mouse" kind of sentences, to get familiar with the way it works. Will post more soon! :)
