Starting January 2nd and running through the 9th, Rhiannon will be hosting a word-building event. Basically, it's a chance to throw any words you can think of against the wall like spaghetti and see how they stick. There are three ways for you to do this:

Submit an English Word
If you really like a word, or maybe you need a word to finish a sentence you're translating, let us know. Just tell us the English word and we'll look through the Lottery Words (Gallifreyan words that have no meaning yet) and see what we can find.

Submit a Gallifreyan Word
Or maybe you came up with a neat Gallifreyan word but have no English equivalent. Submit the IPA (and the circular if you're feeling ambitious) and we'll figure it out.

Submit a Pair
Or if you have a definite Gallifreyan word and its definite English definition, feel free to submit both.

In addition to your word, we'll also come up with related words (nouns, verbs, adjs. and so on), so it's like you came up with more than one word.

Words may be submitted here or on Tumblr. Preferably Tumblr. If you do decide to post them here, please use the Word Submission Forum to keep them all in one place. As the words come in, they will be posted here (in this thread). The Word Submission Template is not required, but it would be neat and might help you get your thoughts in order.

If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, feel free to ask.

What's the difference between an apple pie and a pot pie?
