You might end up moving this, Rihays, and that's totally okay. Because we might end up including the followers/peeps.

I got a message on Tumblr this morning:

Greetings! I'm Denise Vultee, a lecturer in Communication at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. My paper on the Gallifreyan language was recently accepted for publication in a forthcoming book on Doctor Who fan phenomena, to be published by Intellect Books (Bristol, UK). I would like if possible to include an illustration of Collective Gallifreyan. Whom should I contact for permission?
And I sent this message in return:

Hi! Permissions can get very complicated, especially since the project has 20+ contributors. I'll make it simple: The writing system was created by Jasmine (who is no longer part of the project) and I, so I give you full permission. For legal paperwork, you can email me at [email redacted]. If you want exclusive illustrations, the contributors and I will be happy to provide them.
This is obviously HUGE. If you like, once I get an email back, I can put you (and other contributors) in touch with Denise.   (Shit I should have mentioned how to contact other contributors earlier. I'm such a dickhead. Ugh.)

Oh, very nice. #proper

HOLY FREAKING AASDJHFASKJDHAFDA! #bangsheadonkeyboard :o

How many other contributors are still active? And I would love to get in touch if needed. Heck, Detroit isn't much of a drive for me (except once you get into the city itself *blanch*)

SWEET. Well I think it's you, me, and Mara. I got another email:

Dear Rhiannon,

Thank you so much for your quick reply to my request!  I really appreciate your granting permission to use an image from the project.  I've attached a PDF of the publisher's paperwork; if you could email me a signed copy of it when you have a chance, I would be very grateful.  I was thinking that the alphabet chart from your FAQ page might be an appropriate choice for the image, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Thank you again for your help, and for all the amazing work you're doing on the Conlang Project.

[contact information redacted]

I think she should use your Gallifreyan Alphabet Guide, but I'd want the letter order rearranged so that it's in alphabetic order (Front Vowels, Central Vowels, Back Vowels, Bilabials, Labiodentals, Dentals, Alveolars, Post-Alveolars, Palatals, Velars, Glottal, Glide, Other/voiceless labial velar fricative).

Is that /really/ alphabetic order or the articulation order? Is there a difference between them? o_O

Well they're all grouped by articulation, but it is alphabetic order because that's the order we put it in the Lexicon.
